Coach Rob Weingartner

 

Rob is a level 4 USA Hockey Certified Coach, He brings over 25 years of hockey experience to the Wichita Jr. Thunder. Rob was an Assistant Coach for the Wichita Thunder (CHL) from 2005 to 2007 where he was name Head Coach for the remainder of the 2007-08 Season.  He had an 8 year professional career as a player in the CHL, ECHL, IHL and had a couple of try-outs at the NHL Level. Rob has also helped develop the youth hockey programs along with teaching hockey camps throughout his career.

 

Rob resides in Goddard KS with his wife Renee and three children, Madison, Jake and Carson.
